Demands for smaller, high performance machine components have been
answered with the launch of our new compact 5 Port Solenoid range -
Series S0700. Developed initially for semiconductor manufacturing
equipment, but suitable for many general industrial machine
applications, Series S0700 valves are exceptionally compact, with a
body width of only 7mm. However, their high flow capacity performance
is outstanding for valves of their size, with the ability to drive bore
size cylinders up to 25mm. Life tested to achieve in excess of 50
million cycles and with a power consumption of only 0,35 W, the valves
can be used with either barb or one-touch fittings and their reduced
pitch still ensures compact dimensions of 7.5mm and 8.5mm respectively
when mounted on either plug-in (stacking base), slim compact or plug
lead (base bar) manifolds. Additionally these valves can also be used

Originally developed for the semiconductor industry, SMC´s latest
SJ2000/3000 cassette type 4 port solenoid valves provide both space and
energy savings for specialist machine builders.
Available in two compact sizes the SJ2000 measures just 7.5mm wide with
its larger SJ 3000 model at still only 10mm, these new 4 port solenoid
valves have been designed in a cassette type format and use a card-edge
type connector.
Smaller in size than SMC´s existing SZ Series by almost 40% and 30%
respectively, both SJ2000 and SJ3000 can be combined in the same
manifold which can provide up to 24 stations and 32 solenoids.
Compatible with Serial Interface units for both CC-Link and DeviceNet
protocols, the valves feature a special lock switch mechanism to ensure
that they are secure locked together and to prevent accidental
operation of the manual override.
Ease of maintenance has been assured with simple addition, removal and
replacement of individual valve stations, and with a power supply
shut-off switch each valve can be individually de-energised for
adjustment and simple replacement.
Early research has indicated that both the SJ2000 and SJ3000 valves
offer impressive energy savings of up to 62% and 75% respectively when
compared with SMC´s existing SZ solenoid Series.

The SV series employs a multi-connector instead of the conventional
lead wires for internal manifold wiring. By connecting each block with
a connector, changes to manifold stations are greatly simplified.
Cassette base type manifolds offer the ultimate in flexibility.
Manifold sections can be added using a simple release mechanism.
Conventional tie-rod base type manifolds are also available. The use of
34 pin connectors allows up to 16 stations with double solenoids.

The SX series unique design combines both solenoid assemblies (when
using double solenoid 2/3 position) on the same side of the valve,
opposite the ports, allowing for greater space savings and simplified
wiring access. The SX series valves are available with numerous

The SYJ Valve is an innovative combination of space efficiency and
performance superiority which provides real value to the design
solution. Whether designed in a manifold or used as a single valve,
this small profile increases design flexibility and minimizes space
requirements. The SYJ valve utilizes a low power (0.5 watts standard)
pilot solenoid design, which dramatically reduces thermal heat
generation. This improves performance, decreases operating costs, and
allows for direct control by PLC output relays. All electrical
connections for SYJ Valves are available with lights and surge
suppression. SYJ series valves can be configured on base mounted
manifolds, or individually on subplates, creating a variety of
solutions to meet your broadest engineering needs.

and base mounted or body ported type manifolds. Base mounted manifolds

The VK3000 series is a 5 port solenoid, direct poppet, rubber seal
valve. It meets copper free specifications as all parts in contact with
fluids are made of non-copper materials. A compact valve (width 18 x
length 68mm), the VK3000 is available in a body ported or base mounted
style.

The pilot operated rubber seal design allows the valve to be used with
non-lube dry air and still maintain a long life. The VP7 is available

VQ valves are ideal for applications requiring high speed, frequent
operation, stable response time and long service life. Innovative
mounting methods allow valves to be changed without entirely

SMC's VQ7-6/7-8 series valve conforms to ISO standard 5591/I. A choice
of metal or rubber seal increases compatibility with various operating
and environmental conditions. Manifolds are available with a wide
range of interface options to meet a variety of application
requirements. The VQ7-6/7-8 has a smaller, space-saving profile and is
lighter in weight than the VS7/VP7 series.

VQD1000 series 4 port, direct operated, poppet solenoid valve offers
